Le Mobile Learning, ou l’apprentissage nomade, est un format d’apprentissage qui permet d’apprendre en mobilité grâce à des activités courtes et ludiques. Il est principalement utile à l’apprenant pour lutter contre l’oubli progressif des connaissances acquises lors d’une formation.
L’utilisation d’un smartphone, d’une tablette ou d’un ordinateur portable, que l’apprenant a toujours en sa possession, rend la formation vraiment accessible depuis n’importe où, à n’importe quel moment. En couplant cela au format court des contenus à suivre (entre 1 et 10 minutes), le Mobile Learning permet donc un accès continu au savoir.
Le Mobile Learning permet ainsi de créer des répétitions successives des notions importantes d’un cours, espacées de manière intelligente (par exemple : 3 jours après le cours, puis 10 jours après, puis 1 mois après, puis 3 mois après), dans l’objectif d’ancrer ces informations dans la mémoire de l’apprenant sur le long terme.
Idéalement intégré au sein d’un cursus de formation plus global, le Mobile Learning peut occuper une place importante dans ce dispositif en permettant de réviser des notions apprises via d’autres formats pédagogiques (présentiel, distanciel, etc).
Ce format est utile à l’apprenant qui peut ainsi se former de façon simple et ludique, grâce à des notions courtes et en passant par un support numérique qui lui est parfaitement familier.
